A catalog of rotational and radial velocities for evolved stars
Rotational and radial velocities have been measured for about 2000evolved stars of luminosity classes IV, III, II and Ib covering thespectral region F, G and K. The survey was carried out with the CORAVELspectrometer. The precision for the radial velocities is better than0.30 km s-1, whereas for the rotational velocity measurementsthe uncertainties are typically 1.0 km s-1 for subgiants andgiants and 2.0 km s-1 for class II giants and Ib supergiants.These data will add constraints to studies of the rotational behaviourof evolved stars as well as solid informations concerning the presenceof external rotational brakes, tidal interactions in evolved binarysystems and on the link between rotation, chemical abundance and stellaractivity. In this paper we present the rotational velocity v sin i andthe mean radial velocity for the stars of luminosity classes IV, III andII. Based on observations collected at the Haute--Provence Observatory,Saint--Michel, France and at the European Southern Observatory, LaSilla, Chile. | Photometry of F-K type bright giants and supergiants. I - Intermediate band and H-Beta observations
Over 1500 observations of 560 bright giants and supergiants of types F-Kare presented and compared to the observations by Gray and Olsen (1991).The present results include intermediate-band which is slightlydifferent from the Stromgren data by Gray and Olsen due to a differentwidth for the v filter. A systematic difference in m(1) - M(1) withdecreasing temperature is noted in the two H-Beta data sets, and thecorrelations are defined.

| UBV photometry of stars whose positions are accurately known.
Photometric indices V, B-V, and U-B were measured for about 560 stars ofthe AGK3R and NPZT catalogs between BD declinations 11 deg and 23 deg,using the 40-cm Cassegrain telescope of the Kvistaberg Observatory fromApril 1986 to May 1987. The observation procedure and the reductiontechnique were the same as in the earlier papers of this series by Oja(1984, 1985, 1986, and 1987). The mean errors were calculated from theinternal consistency of the data. The accuracy was found to be the sameas for the earlier parts of the survey.

| Uvby-beta photometry of visual double stars - Absolute magnitudes of intrinsically bright stars
Individual absolute visual magnitudes M(v) are derived for intrinsicallybright stars and evolved stars. The results are collected for 106objects believed to be members of binary systems. uvby-beta photometrywas empirically calibrated in terms of M(v) for main sequence stars andphotoelectrically determined apparent magnitudes. The derived M(v)values are not significantly different from those stated in the Wilsoncatalogue (1976). Binary systems with main sequence primaries andsecondary components off the main sequence were also investigated.Several systems in which at least one component may be in the pre-mainsequence contraction stage are pointed out. A wide variety of commentsand derived data are given individually for 136 double stars, includingmetallicities, distance moduli, and masses.
